QHSE Manager - Dairy Factory

We are currently seeking for one of our clients in Cameroon a highly qualified and motivated QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) Manager to join our team and oversee the QHSE operations of our dairy production facility.

QHSE Manager – Dairy Factory

 

Location: Douala Cameroon

 

About the Role:

The QHSE Manager will be responsible for the implementation, and management of all quality, health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain QHSE policies and procedures in line with industry regulations and company standards (ISO 22000, ISO 9001, HACCP, etc.).
  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Train and support staff in QHSE practices and procedures.
  • Monitor product quality and safety throughout the production process.
  • Investigate incidents and ensure proper corrective actions are implemented.
  • Maintain documentation and records related to QHSE compliance.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement in all aspects of QHSE.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a QHSE role within the food or dairy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of QHSE management systems and food safety standards.
  • Experience with ISO standards and HACCP implementation is essential.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Fluency in French is a MUST

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in ISO 22000, HACCP, or other relevant QHSE systems.
  • Experience working in an industrial dairy environment.
  • Ability to manage cross functional teams and coordinate with production.
